What is special is that I normally live abroad and work over the internet. It is a different way of working, but very much in line with an economic way of doing business in the 21st century.

The primary benefit is that I can work for a significantly lower rate than normal because I distance myself from the expensive western world.

I can get the job done faster because I don't have all the distractions so ever present in an office.

Correspondence is normally done using email and phone, but webcam, screen sharing, instant messaging, scribble board, etc, all help to reduce the perceived distance.

If a trip is necessary, it is easy as a Dane to enter (most) other countries. Even with the trip included, my bill will normally be less than the cost of having a permanent employee.
